Time to move on to a new BAT

Here is my previous love...

So I have been working on the bike lately in between work and buying a new house this has been a pretty intense 8 months for me at this point. I haven't had much time to get out there and really work in the garage and the time that I do have seems to always go to the house and honeydoo projects. Well, happy wife happy life right?

I installed some universal forward controls from TC Bros. last weekend, here is a couple pics of that install. The bike is in the home stretch, now I just need to figure out how I am going to make the linkages work.

My Girl Finally Has a Heart!!!!!!!

My engine is finally in, and after a spit shine and a little elbow grease she is looking MEAN!!!! Here is a couple picks of the engine ready to get thrown in the volksrod. Now I just have to finish all the body work and work on the frame. Of course this is the important stuff and the stuff that takes all the time! So here we go maybe we can have a roller before the end of the year if I put in long weekends. But based on funds the amount of down time I have I doubt it. We will see. But this is an awesome start. As long as my wonderful wife will put up with me that is lol.

Arachnaphobia!!!!

Brought back a little friend from Wolfe City when I went to pick up my bug! Yes this spider is the size of my hand, although there was no way I was putting my hand close to this thing for you guys to have a reference! I snuck out of my room when I was little and watched the movie Arachnaphobia when I was a kid. I remember sitting in the hall sticking my head out of the door jam and watching it from down the hall while my parents sat in the living room. Needless to say I tucked my covers under my feet for the next 14 years in fear haha. So when I saw this spider I about passed out!

The PROJECT

So here is the new baby. Hopefully I will be picking it up sometime this week. It definitely could use some work but I got it for a steal and with an already chopped top this thing is exactly where I want to be starting at. Now I just got to get a motor for this bad boy and start the hard stuff. SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!! Now I just gotta finish up summer school this week and get my grade I need and everything is smooth sailing from there!!!!!!!

Umm Yeah we could definitly use some work on the interior haha. Plus do you see that huge bannana spider
